- Answer For model 27GN600-B HDR works via HDMI or Display Port. In some resolutions HDMI Compatibility Mode: Off. In Game Mode with HDR on the owner's manual does not specify that it only works via Display Port. - Answer No, I don’t think so. I had it hooked up to my laptop via hdmi, The only way for G-sync to work is if you have it linked via display port. That’s how I got it to work with my laptop.

QuestionWe connected our Xbox 1 to this monitor … how come we do not hear any sound? Does this need to be connected to a headset the whole time to hear sound or am I supposed hear sound from the monitor ? Also, I have speakers that I can’t hear sound either. Help
