• Regardless of whether you use an HDMI to DisplayPort converter or not to connect your gaming console to the LG UltraGear 27" IPS LED QHD FreeSync and G-SYNC Compatable Monitor with HDR, Model # 27GN850-B, you will still be limited to 100Hz if you are using an HDMI Out. The limitation is in the HDMI port...^IFV

• No. The hdmi is limited before you convert it. The HDMI at the start creates the bottleneck.
