“Why isn't this monitor listed on Nvidia's G-Sync and AMD's FreeSync supported monitor lists? LG's documentation states it supports both G-Sync and FreeSync but it's nowhere to be found on official lists from Nvidia and AMD”

I am not sure why it isn't listed but per the specifications this monitor is NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible and has AMD FreeSync™. ^Daphane

The monitor is adaptive sync compatible it doesn’t have the GSync certification to receive the full feature set that would come with but it is adaptive sync compatible

It has adaptive sync which allows it to work with both.
