I would not recommend buying a 4K monitor for a MacBook. Moreover, a Radeon 5500M (Nvidia 1080ish equivalent) isn’t really created for 4K gaming. Your computer will feel more sluggish attempting it. If I were you, I’d look for a 2160x1440p monitor, but it’s my strong recommendation to look for a computer suited for gaming vs. a MacBook which was created for more day-to-day uses.
