“I purchased 2 of these monitors for daily work use with a display port. I continue to experience dimming every few minues, then the picture goes back to normal. I have tried every possible setting. Are these defective? Please assist.”

This behavior is often related to the Smart Energy Saving feature or Digital Fine Contrast settings. To address this, please press the joystick button to open the main menu, select [Settings], navigate to [General], find [SMART ENERGY SAVING], and select [Off] to deactivate the function.
