“Why does my computer not recognize the ability of this display to show hdr ? Also, why is it IMPOSSIBLE to find drivers for this? Also, my computer recognizes this monitor as generic plug &play and won't go above 60hz. HELP ME BEFORE IT GETS RETURNED”

You have to use display port. Also, in windows setting, I had to go from native 2560 x 1440. which is recommended to 2560 x 1440( it doesn’t say native next to it). Then I was able to get the 165 hertz.
