“Hello, I bought this monitor to use w/ my ps5. I purchased a 1.4 display port to HDMI to achieve the best results. The problem I run into is although the HDMI ports work the display port is showing no connection. Help before I return please.”

I would just go back and swap it out and try that out. I use my Xbox, PlayStation 5, and pc with it. This monitor is phenomenal!
