The FPS have everything to do with the amount of pixels being pushed and nothing to do with the size of the screen, if the 34” has less pixels. You will get a higher frame rate and vise versa.

If your 34 inch monitor is lower resolution than 3840x1600 then yes, you will get less FPS on this. The higher the pixel count the harder your GPU has to work to draw the pixels. If you are referring to the potential FPS based on the refresh rate, the refresh rate is likely the same on both monitors.
