Use the remote for the lights in the back, The monitor does not have speakers it is designed to sync with Gear headphones
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi there! Thank you for your review regarding the 45GR95QE-B.AUS monitor. To turn on the back lights, you can typically adjust the settings through the on-screen display menu. Here’s how: press the joystick button on the monitor to open the menu, navigate to the "Picture" or "Lighting" settings, and look for an option to enable or adjust the backlight. Regarding the sound issue, this monitor does come with built-in speakers, but sometimes audio settings can prevent sound from playing through them. Make sure that the audio output is set correctly. You can check this in your device's audio settings, ensuring that the monitor is selected as the audio output source instead of just the headphones. If you're still not getting sound from the speakers, try checking the volume settings on both the monitor and your connected device to ensure they're not muted or too low. If these steps don’t resolve your issues or if you need further assistance, please feel free to reach out via private message on Social Media @LGUSSupport. We’re here to help! —Avril

There's a lot of options for different colors and effects. There's no speakers on the monitor itself, but it does have it's own built in audio controller, so it can function as an external DAC. There's a headphone jack on the bottom next to the poewer button, and optical audio output on the back, so you can connect it to your speakers or sound system and use the monitor instead of onboard audio.
