A:AnswerPerhaps it's a setting on the TV for the player. I don't think there are any settings in the device. Many flat panels have different picture modes to choose from. Do you have another TV you can try it on? Our's has been fine.

The LG 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray Disc™ Player with HDR Compatibility, Model # UP875 can be connected to a receiver via its HDMI Output if your receiver has HDMI Inputs or it can be connected via its Optical Digital Audio Output if your receiver has an Optical Digital Audio Input. You will find instructions with illustrated diagrams for the setup on pages 12-13 of your owner's manual. Page 29 of the manual also has explicit instructions for using the disc menu.
