Yes the update for dolby vision came out fr this player it was in there latest update i own it and played 4k blu-ray with dolby vision on this player

I just purchased this and had it delivered today 1-18-2018, set it up today, updated the firmware, and it does not appear to support Dolby Vision yet. my Netflix app says hdr, my Dark Tower 4k disc also only displays her on my LG oled55c6p. my tv apps clearly support Dolby Vision, it shows it when I stream from Vudu and Netflix, and the Netflix says Dolby Vision. I hope some consistency will come soon. I bought this solely for that feature.

As of Aug 29, 2017 LG has released the Dolby Vision update.
