Can I play music cd's on the up970 null

The LG 4K 3d Ultra blu ray player can play cds/dvds/blu rays and camcorder disks! This player plays music cds crisp and clear! You will hear music like you have never heard it before. Every note is crystal clear and voices are down right beautiful. Movies are incredible! It plays 3d movies, 4k movies and dvds. This is the best player I have ever owned! So good I bought two! This player is so great that it makes my home theater sound system sound awesome!

To provide detail on the prior answer, they were correct it does play other media formats. However although it does play old school regular DVDs, it has limited functionality. We have found that it can ONLY play, pause and stop DVDs. When you try to Fast Forward or Rewind the box freezes and I have to unplug the unit from the wall to reset it then I can go back to my movie, but only to the nearest chapter, remember no FF or RW. Unfortunately when we watch the occasional DVD we have learned to not even attempt to Rewind or FF, we typically pause it only. I hope someone has a fix they can recommend or maybe better experience in playing DVDs.
