Does the LG-UP970 support Dolby Atmos null

Yes it supports atmos and dtsx. Whoever answered no doesn't not know this player or any 2017 player. All 2017 4k players will support atmos. All 4k movies that are released in the black cases will support either atmos or dtsx. Avs forums are a great place to look for real amswers

Yes it does. Tested it last night.

Yes. All 4K players support Atmos. Most standard bluray players that support Dolby HD also support Atmos as long as they are set up properly. Atmos is just a way of coding height effects into a Dolby HD format. So, if a player is Dolby HD compatible, it is Atmos compatible.

I would think it does, due to the fact you can play a Dolby ATMOS movie in any blu-ray player and get the ATMOS signal to your receiver.

When this was announced at CES this model was annouced saying it would support dolby vision. IT is confusin because it does not state it anywhere on their website.
