• Yes its out now the update must have came out today or late yesterday i just downloaded the update and test out dolby vision with this player looks great on my lg c7 oled tv.

• Nope. It's now November and still no Dolby Vision support. LG added DV support in a late August update, then quietly removed support in the next update with no timeline as to when it will be enabled again.

• just got this item two days ago from Best buy, updated the firmware to the latest, put in 4k version of the dark tower which very directly says Dolby vision on the front, and all I get is hdr signal to my LG oled55c6p, Dolby vision does not pop up. I have emailed LG directly and their response is that it is not out yet. I do not know how or where these others claim the update is there, but I can say it is not as of 1-21-2018.

• I checked the firmware update today, and as of 3-5-2018 yes, my unit is Dolby vision working. Netflix and the Dark Tower 4k disc play and activate the Dolby vision on my oled tv.
