“When playing a 3d bluray does it output 1080p or does it upconvert to 4k. What does the display info on your tv indicate. Please answer with TV display information, not what you "think" it is outputting. Much appreciated”

3D blu rays are 1080P, so thats what it outputs
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.My UP970 is attached to a LG OLED65E6P TV. I bypassed the Denon receiver because it could not handle the 3D signal, so I have HDMI audio only going to the receiver and HDMI video directly to HDMI input to the TV. The only indication I get from the TV when viewing a 3D disc is "3D signal detected. 3D is now on." I know that this doesn't fully answer your question. The TV is new to me and I don't know how to get the actual resolution that it is displaying. The TV is also capable of upscaling. I can tell you that the 3D as well as the 4K look awesome! For that matter so does a standard DVD.
