Yes, you'll lose wifi calling, HD voice, and Visual voicemail when using the unlocked phone on ATT. It's certainly frustrating but not a deal breaker since I travel internationally and need the ability to SIM swap. FWIW, if you activate it on T-mobile, the wifi calling works but can't speak to the other functions.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You will lose wifi calling, visual voicemail, and a couple other features. While I still haven't found a way to get wifi calling back, you can use other voicemail services like YouMail to get visual voicemail back. If you're willing to void the warranty, you also can root your device and flash it with the AT&T software.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No band 71 for 600 Mhz or bloatware; but voice mail will work on T-Mobile. Band 12 for 700 Mhz but the list of phones that work on T-Mobile is changing every week. I tried transitioning to T-Mobile from Verizon with V30 but Verizon branded phones disable Band 71 making it useless in rural areas. Depends on what part of the country.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The unlocked version was placed on sale by Best Buy. The main difference between a carrier locked version and the unlocked version is the carrier locked version comes with pre-loaded applications installed. ^CP
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It's all the same. No special feature for the AT&T version except when you turn it on, it gives you the AT&T greeting. No big deal. I could really do without that.
