- Answer I am currently using an unlocked phone purchased through bestbuy with a straight talk sim card. I have had no issues. Just verify that the Tracfone sim card is compatible with the GSM phone.

QuestionI'm using at&t prepaid sim card and would like to get a new v40. But when I try to type my att info, it shows me that it can't find my account info. What can I do for fixing this problem?

- Answer Logging into the account is not required. The APN settings must be set correctly for the SIM card to operate correctly. The previous SIM card will then work on the new phone.

- Answer I purchased this phone unlocked because BestBuy doesn’t handle T-Mobile as a carrier and it cost me $50 extra. All we had to do was change the SIM card card and it was that simple. In your case, they do handle ATT so you are in luck
