• It can be connected to the TV via audio cables or AUX if the TV supports it, and no you have to buy the cables separately. If you want something to sound more crispier for your TV specially if you are watching movies, I would recommend a soundbar and a Optical Sound cable (I've seen some new TLC soundbars that do not look too bad)
