“I have seen some reported issues of the subwoofer not working when connected to a device via Bluetooth. I have a Samsung Galaxy S8. Before I plunk down $$$, can someone confirm that the XBoom subwoofer will work with this model phone??? Thanks !!”

Hi PianoDude53. The Subwoofer for the LG XBOOM 700W Main Unit and Speaker System Combo Set, Model # CM4590 automatically pairs with the main unit for the CM4590. It does not pair with Bluetooth devices. Bluetooth devices pair with the main unit and the main unit will then send the low frequency signals to the paired Subwoofer. If the Subwoofer is not pairing with the main unit, then the issue is between the main unit and the Subwoofer and not between the external Bluetooth device and the Subwoofer which may not be pairing due to interference from other nearby devices working in that same frequency or metal objects, electrical conduits within the walls etc., ^IFV
