• As far as I’m aware, up to 2 in the XBoom line. Whether it be 2 mediums, a small and medium, or the medium and large.

• You can enjoy the sound in stereo by using two speakers. For enjoying Dual play, you need to purchase another speaker. Information on dual play can be found in the owner's manual beginning on page 25. https://www.lg.com/us/support/product/lg-PK5.DUSALLK ^CP
