I ask this question because I am not a big fan of games that require and depend on internet connection and I hope that someone can answer; Is this a put the disc in and play game or does this require internet to set up and internet to play thereafter? null

The disc has the entire game on it. You'll have to do an install, which people tend to use interchangeably. (Install/download). There may be patches obviously and that's with the vast majority of games. But ultimately you don't not need the internet to install and launch the game. Hope this helps.

You'll need the Internet to download any patches, but if that doesn't bother you then it's  plug and play.
