“Lifeproof iphone 5 fix? Hi, I was watching reviews on the lifeproof case and heard of problems. Then I heard that Lifeproof made a new gen on the case. The problems I heard of were the rainbow effect, the big gap between screen and plastic, and the sound issues. Are these fixed?”

My whole family has used them and never had a problem from the iphone 4-6.

This new one has the plastic screw that protects the earphones jack attached to the cover, avoiding it to fall and get lost when you remove it tomuse the earphones. I did not have any problem with gap between screen and plastic. It fits perfectly. Never experienced the rainbow effect either. Tehre are some sound issues, though. It is now much better that the former model I had, but, yes, the cover makes the musics sound lower. But there is no bigger issues with the speaker mode.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I've never had any problems with any of the LifeProof cases. I recently bought one for my new iPhone 5s with the fingerprint option and it's great. I used to have one for an iPhone 4s and after 2.5 years it is still good as new to the point where I passed it on to my son. BTW: I have never heard of any issues with the LifeProof cases.
