“Does the built in screen protector protect the screen if you drop your phone? I shattered my phone screen when I dropped it while it was in a Lifeproof case. Wondered if this case has a a better screen protector.”

Yes it does due to the raised edges and side impact protection. I would not recommend a lifeproof for this feature though. I'm using a regular case and a glass screen protector and it works great.
