I have had several lifeproofs these past years and the sound has usually been an issue. Sometimes its okay. However, I often get the complaint that I can’t be heard well. It can get annoying if I'm speaking to customer service. I usually have to remove the case and then I’m told, “now I can hear you!” I currently have an iphone 7 plus with lifeproof cover. I still have purchased lifeproof because my phone doesn't ever have a scratch; very well protected!
