If I Have an iPhone 5 will it still come with a cover for the home button? I'd prefer for it to be covered since I don't have the touch ID function on my phone, but I can't find anything that'll reassure me that my case will come that way.

Yes this definitely covers the home button, that's how it keeps it water proof.

It does have a cover for the home button. It is a thin layer that will still allow you to use the touch ID feature, but keeps your phone waterproof and dustproof just the same.

The lifeproof nuud for iPhone 5/5s has a cover over the home button that is compatible with Touch ID. I have an iPhone 5. The nuud is the best iPhone case.

The LifeProof fre has a plastic screen cover and the whole phone is completely enclosed. The home button included.
The LifeProof nuud has a case that seals around the glass so you can actually touch the screen directly. Only the touch screen is exposed. All the buttons including the home button are covered.

It does not come with a "cover" for the home button but there is a thin plastic lining that covers the home button. This is because of the finger print sensor usage on 5S. It would be good for the regular 5 though.

The button is NOT covered but this is okay for me since the button being covered on my older version of ipod it created a problem in that you had to hit it at least 3 times for it to work. It may not work for you but I am happy to not have the button covered as it doesn't seem to get any damage.
