How are the speakers powered? null

There is a receiver/ power supply box that connects to each speaker and plugs into an electrical outlet. It receives the signals wirelessly from the 650. You will need to locate the speakers within reasonable distance of an electrical outlet and figure out how to run the wires from the boxes to the speakers. But no long runs of wire from the main unit as there used to be. The subwoofer is also wireless and plugs into an electrical outlet. The front and center speakers are hard wired to the 650 unit.

The front speakers are powered by an amplifier inside the console. The bass module has its own amplifier. The wireless surrounds have an amplifier built in to the wireless module. You can also optionally run the surrounds in wired mode from the console, in which case they would be powered by the console.

The speakers are cable powered.

All are wired to either the main box or to their own wall outlet (120v) for the rear speakers.
