Use the 75 watt bulb, as long as it fits dimensionally in the can. I've periodically looked at how much bandwidth these bulbs use, and I've never actually seen them use much, if any data, other than updating the firmware. I use Google WiFi routers, so I can see "real time" data usage
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. My recessed lighting uses BR30 E26. Check your current lights for specifics.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, it is the correct bulb. They do not use any appreciable amount of bandwidth.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. These work in our recessed lighting. We have at least 12 bulbs in our home. I would recommend increasing your wifi bandwidth. We have a NetGear Orbi home wifi system with a base and 2 satellites.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If the bulb you have now is a BR-30, then yes. It’s usualy printed around the base of the bulb. They don’t chew up much bandwidth, but routers can max out on the number of supported devices. I went with a mesh setup to alleviate the issue for myself; with bulbs and switches and plugs etc, my network at home has 60+ devices connected at any given time.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We placed it in a ceiling can. Worked fine and very cleaver for a few days, until we used the dimmer switch. DOES NOT WORK IN A SOCKET CONTROLLED WITH A DIMMER SWITCH. Otherwise, it was fun to have and easy to set up.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, br30 recessed light
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it will work great we recommend BR30 for 6" cans and A19 for 4" cans. It does not take a lot of bandwidth though we do always recommend a mesh router system as you grow out your smarthome.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Honestly these bulbs are huge for recessed lighting I would go with the smaller ones (same price). They also don’t use a lot of bandwidth I know for me I don’t notice a difference one bit
