• As i am aware, the option to have the lights dance to sound works through using your phones ability to pick up sound. Not positive if the tv will do the same.

• No this light strip does not connect to your tv, it plugs into an outlet and sticks via adhesive to the tv. No audio signal will pass to the lights from the tv to make it work in sync
