No. Needs 2.4. Buy a Router with that option if your service provider has a Smart Router (even if it says it has 5G & 2.4). This is the case with Soectrum’s new routers. The previous version was fine, but they no longer offer it.

In order to hook these up you have to have a 2.4 GHz wifi band. Most new routers come as a dual band router with a 2.4 GHz and 5GHz
