• Yes. I’ve “dropped in” on my Alexa (camera) and used my Apple Watch with LIFX App to turn on lights when out of town. The App is controlled on your phone (or watch) with or without a WiFi connection wherever you are.

• Yes. You can view the status of your lights away from your home network and (so long as your network is connected) turn on/off the light, change the brightness of the bulb, schedule, etc.
