A:Answer Although you can cut this light strip at specific areas in order to customize the length, they would not work the way that you need because only the length of the strip that is attached to the power supply (and therefore the wifi controller) would work.
I'm sure that you could find some way to splice the other end to a different power supply but then you wouldn't be able to control that part of the light strip with the app and I assume that it would only function as a white LED light strip (which would make it an incredibly expensive option because you can get a plain old, white LED light strip just about anywhere for a fraction of the price.) so, the short answer is, no this is not the right product for your project.
