“what does it mean when the white flashing light turns to a Red flashing light? the white light never went to a solid white?”

• It’s tricky to set up bring it close to router to pick up the signal first it may take a while to identify the signal and grab it. It’s not a red flashing light it’s actually orange.. means it’s got the signal but it’s weak .. when it’s grabbed the signal fully then it will go solid white.. I hope this helps
