I was told about 20 but then I added the Nighthawk DST AC1900 router and DST adapter package to the AC 1200 and you can get probably 50 probably a lot more at over 340 speed steady , streaming to handle a security system.

Your router will have to supply IP addresses to the users attaching so be sure to increase the DHCP range they can access. And better yet if you router can support a guest network do that and keep your customers off your "Work" network.
