• Yes, I set it up with a MacBook Pro Retina, it doesn't have a CD/DVD drive. Took about 15 minutes.

• Of course. There's always a browser-based setup if you input the IP address of the router, usually 192.168.1.1. This is also detailed in the manual.

• Yes, the router can be used on a PC without a CD/DVD drive, you would have to download the installation software from the Linksys website.
