I actually have Spectrum as my ISP. (I’m waiting for a company to bring fiber optic to our neck of the woods so I can dump Spectrum/AT&T). All you do is plug your Ethernet cable in to the modem and run it into the primary port in the back of the router, go to the ASUS site and update the firmware for the router before you go online to make your WiFi safe against online threats, and then start surfing the web wirelessly! The second router in this package will be a range extender/repeater to help boost the signals in your house where you have dead spots or lag/slow spots.
