• Follow the directions -- which are simple -- and it's difficult to go wrong. One caution, though: My router's ready lamp never turned white, which the directions said was the indication that the router had finished its setup. I finally figured it was ready when its blue light remained steady.

• You may have to call your ISP, but other than that pretty simple, plug and follow the prompts. You will need a cell phone/mobile device while setting up.
