QuestionHave Arris NVG589 modem/router combo. Single band 2.4GHz . I want a router that does dual 2.4/5.0 GHz access, and let me assign certain devices to each signal. Will this device work with the Arris and allow me to manage connections? If not what will?

- Answer Hi, CoastalCowboy. Since you already have a modem/router, adding another router will not help achieve the setup that you want. We suggest that you replace your device with a modem, before adding another Smart Wi-Fi router that has a 2.4GHz & 5GHz frequency.
