• This unit does not have a built-in modem. I ended up calling the Linksys customer service tech line to get mine up and running.

• Installation was very easy. Speed is fantastic. Upgraded from a Linksys AC 900. Paired it was a Netgear Nighthawk X4 Wi-Fi Range Extender and can get service in the shop an entire lot over. Currently running 5 devices wireless with lightning fast speed. Would definitely recommend.
