• A modem does not supply internet connectivity, it merely broadcasts it and acts as a hub. You would need an internet provider such as Comcast, AT&T, WOW!, Knology, ect in order to use it.

• wifi is built in the router. the wireless router handles the wifi signal, not your isp provider

• this is wifi. Get the EA6900 as its the same router but $100 cheaper online.

• You still need wifi, this just makes the signal stronger in your house

• This is a WiFi router, you will still need internet service from a provider.
