“I have this setup in my basement where my cable modem is located. The wireless signal is very weak on my first floor and doesn't make it to the second floor. Any suggestions on antenna orientation, higher gain antennae, or range extender?”

Although, these signal waves cannot be seen or have weight, they are still bound to the laws of gravity. Additionally, you may need to place and extender in a sight line of your router where your other devices could "see" the extender. Generally, too much metal or solid brick and cement will interfere as well.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes i would look at getting the whole home kit. It runs you internet through your plug outlet, then you put another plug outlet on a different floorbor room and you can either gardline into it or do wifi off of it.
