• Yes, this will work with Windows 7. This unit is not a cable modem. Check with your provider for compatibility.

• No issues working with Windows 7. There is a smartphone application that can be used to set everything up. Far as Time Warner, that shouldn't be an issue either. You might need a VPN if your location is being restricted though.

• Yes it should work with W7 and yes it should work with any cable and or internet company. You download an app on your smartphone and do the initial setup there (very easy). Your provider may not use this brand and will tell you they can't help because they're not familiar with it, which is okay, you can use pretty much any modem and router you want as long as it meets their requirements.
