Is set-up and config only possible if you have a cell phone data contract? Apparently not as I've tried my T-Mobile prepaid unsuccessfully. Also, there is no APP if you still have a Windows phone null

Do you have a tablet? I did my setup on an iPad. Once setup is established, you can use your cell phone browser to log into the router and make changes.

Hi, Niederbayer. Setting up the MR8300 router doesn’t need a cellular data. Also, the Linksys App can only be downloaded to an android or iOS device.
