“Is set-up and config only possible if you have a cell phone data contract? Apparently not as I've tried my T-Mobile prepaid unsuccessfully. Also, there is no APP if you still have a Windows phone”

• Do you have a tablet? I did my setup on an iPad. Once setup is established, you can use your cell phone browser to log into the router and make changes.

• Hi, Niederbayer. Setting up the MR8300 router doesn’t need a cellular data. Also, the Linksys App can only be downloaded to an android or iOS device.
