• This unit is a router and not a modem. Therefore it will be attached to a modem with an ethernet cable. I doesn't matter what service you have.

• The MR8300 router works with any ISP plan or modem, Chris.

• Not sure, I only have cable but it should work with DSL as well. I use the modem from my cable provider so sorry can't help with that either.
