• Yes that's why I boutgh it I don't have wifi spot at work so I got this I took the dsl cable that was going into my "work" laptop & plugged it & ran the cable that comes with it back to my computer & then I had a wifi hot spot for everyone to use

• We have ours connected to T-Mobile hotspot via cable. Works fine, although I would pick a different router. Nothing but problems with this one.
