• Hi, Nita. You can place it upstairs however you need to find a perfect spot on where you will set up the range extender. It should be placed in an area where it can get at least (50%) 2 - 3 wireless signal bars from the router.

• This was the issue I was running into. I have an Apple router downstairs and can’t move it due to where the line had to be installed. I was at 50% of my speeds in some places in the house and this got me back to 100% coverage at full speed.
