• Yes it will work. We have at&t fiber with a gateway router and it works well.

• Hi, Gj. The extender is compatible with most routers/gateway. Just make sure that the gateway's wireless security type is either WPA2 Personal or WPA2/WPA Mixed Mode. We recommend contacting AT&T support for a consult as well.
