• It should work. Best Buy is great. If it doesn’t work you can return it. My router is upstairs and my dead zone is downstairs,the extender fix the dead zone.

• Hello, Debbie. You may use the Linksys RE6300 in the basement of your house. However, you may also need to consider obstructions that may cause an intermittent connection between the router. Make sure that your range extender is getting at least 50% of your router’s Wi-Fi signal.
