Yes, jrfromCOMO. You will need a modem along with the Linksys EA8300 router since this device is only a Smart Wi-Fi router and not a modem router.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You need a separate modem. This is just a router, albeit a good one. There are units that combine the modem & router in one peice of equipment. If that's what you prefer, then this router is not what you want.
