Yes go into media settings and check it off. Has different setting for storage and media. Have a 4gig drive and it's fast throughout 3 tv and 4 phones

If it's hardwired (using ethernet connections), then you will likely have no problem. Similarly if your video streaming device supports 802.11 ac (5Ghz) wireless (not that many devices do BTW), then you also stand a good chance of having no problem. You can like get 400+ MBits/Sec from a 5 GHz connection. If your video device is 802.11n, it's possible you'll be okay, but with that, your probaby only going to get 50 or 60 MBits/sec at most. So it's questionable. Note also that the huge file size is likely not a factor. It depends more on how fast the file can be read (the rate of bits being served per second) - not the total size of the file

Please try again later.it did not have a streaming app like PLEX or some other streaming app installed or available for download, but the files from a NTFS formatted drive can be connected to the USB 3.0 port and seen by computers and media devices that are capable of browsing a local network.
