Your signal strength is great, but as you go down hall way to bedroom you lose signal farther you go from main unit. This extender allows for your wifi signal strength to be better if placed in your room wall socket or hall way socket. Just try to place it where signals can relay to and from, Multiple walls or metal objects such as stoves, washers, can stain the signal, if placed in direct lines between.
